Hello everyone, today I am sharing with you the easiest paneer bhurji recipe that anyone can prepare in 5 minutes with the least ingredients. So, let's start our recipe.
This recipe is quite similar to egg bhurji only some of the ingredients are changed. Bhurji is prepared by crumbling the paneer.
How Paneer Bhurji Recipe Is Relished
Indian styled crumbled cottage cheese (crumbled or grated paneer) is relished all across Indian sub-continent. Every person has a unique way to prepare it.
I have shared my known recipe which I personally use to cook and thought why not share with others.
About Paneer Bhurji
It is prepared by crumbling the paneer and this makes the bhurji even tastier. We then proceed with heating the pot (kadai). Then we add onions and tomatoes with green chilies, salt and black pepper.
Ingredients (Serve for 2 pax)
250gm Paneer - crumbled
2 tomato finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
2 green chilly finely chopped
3 Tbsp. - ghee / oil
Salt - to taste
Black Pepper Powder – 2Tsp.
Chopped coriander (for garnish)
1/2 cup (optional) - Boiled Peas
2tsp - Garam masala
3tsp -Coriander Powder
Red Chili Powder- As per taste
STEP BY STEP (PHOTO)
STEP 1
Heat oil in cooking pot and let it heat up.
STEP 2
Add onions in cooking pot and let it cook on medium flame for 1 minute to 2 minutes until light brown.
STEP 3
Add spices and salt to onions and cook for one minute. Mix everything well.
STEP 4
Add tomatoes and cook on medium flame till soft stirring in between.
STEP 5
Mix everything with tomatoes well. Keep stirring so that it doesn't burn and is cooked properly.
STEP 6
Add green chilies and cook for one minute.
STEP 7
Add crumbled paneer, mix everything well with cottage cheese and cook for 2 minutes Keep stirring in between.
STEP 8
The dish is cooked and ready to be served.
STEP 9
Transfer it to a serving bowl and serve hot.
Preparation
1) Take Paneer and crumble it on a plate.
2) Add the cooking pot to a stove and heat and add ghee / oil.
3) Add chopped onions and on medium flame let them cook for 1 minutes to 2 minutes until they become light brown.
4) Add garam masala, coriander powder and red chili powder and stir to mix everything well. Cook for 30 seconds while stirring in between.
5) Add tomatoes. Stir once and let them cook for 1 minute to 2 minutes.
6) Add chopped green chilies mix well and on medium flame let it cook for a minute. Give it a good stir.
7) Add paneer (boiled peas- optional) and mix everything. Keep stirring in between. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
8) Enjoy the dish.
