Quick To Prepare Egg Bhurji Recipe

Hello friends, I have brought you a simple recipe of scrambled eggs that you can prepare in 2 minutes. I have mentioned the steps below along with the recipe so you have no difficulty in preparing it. Read the article below.


Egg-bhurji


    Egg bhurji also known as Anda bhurji in Hindi is a popular Indian street food available all across India from being served in homes, restaurants to street. All of them are prepared in quite a similar way but still tastes different and unique. It is most common in Northern and Western Parts of India.

    Made with basic ingredients anyone can prepare it anytime they want to eat. It takes only 20 minutes to prepare.

    How Egg Bhurji Is Eaten

     Indian styled scrambled eggs is relished all across Indian sub-continent.

    In south India it is eaten with rice and with some other dishes. In north India it is eaten with Poori, chapatti or pulkas.

    I have shared my known recipe which I personally use to cook and thought why not share with others.

    About Egg Bhurji

    It is prepared by breaking eggs in a bowl and whisk them till they are fluffy, this makes the bhurji even tastier. We then proceed with heating the pot (kadai). Then we add onions and tomatoes with green chilies, salt and black pepper.

    Ingredients (Serve for 1 pax)

    Egg-bhurji-ingredients

    2 Eggs

    1 tomato finely chopped

    1/2 onion finely chopped

    1 green chilly finely chopped

    1.5 Tbsp. ghee / oil

    Salt to taste

    Chopped coriander (for garnish) 

    Step By Step (Photo wise)

    Step 1

    Oil-being-heated-up

    Heat oil/ ghee in cooking pot.

    Step 2

    Add-onions

    When oil / ghee is well heated up put the onions along with some salt to make the cooking process faster. Keep stirring on low to medium flame until onions are red.

    Step 3

    Green-chillies-added

    Add green chillies and keep stirring for a minute.

    Step 4

    Tomatoes-added-to-cooking-pot

    Add chopped tomatoes and cook covered on low flame for 4 minutes till they become soft.

    Step 5

    Eggs-added-to-cooking-pot

    Add the beaten eggs and keep stirring vigorously until eggs become scrambled. 

    Step 6

    Egg-burji-prepared

    It is ready to be eaten.

    Step 7

    Egg-bhurji

    Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.

    Preparation 

    Now friends it’s time to prepare our tasty dish. Hmm, can’t wait. Just follow our few steps and your egg bhurji will be ready in no time.

     

    1) Take eggs and break them in a bowl, add salt and whisk them till they are fluffy.

    2) Add the cooking pot on a stove and heat and add ghee / oil.

     3) Add chopped onions, chopped green chillies and a little salt and keep stirring on medium flame till they are red in colour.

    4) Add chopped tomatoes and stir a little.

     5) Add the whisked eggs and keep stirring so that they don’t stick on the edges. Some people like little slightly more fried egg burji. Keep stirring till egg bhurji is slightly brown. Add black pepper powder and stir to mix well.

     6) Switch off the flame and take it off the stove.

     7) Garnish with chopped coriander.

     8)  Enjoy the egg bhurji with rice, naan or any other bread.
