Healthy Chilly Paneer Recipe

This recipe as we also know is also known by the name of capsicum paneer is a combination of capsicum, onions and paneer and is prepared in various ways in India. It is best to eat with chapatti, that is my recommendation as I enjoy it in that way.  You can eat it with any type of bread you like.

    FAQ

How much sauce should I add to the paneer?

Adding too much sauce can make paneer sweet and will give the taste of sauce. Add 3 tablespoons of sauce.

    Can we fry the paneer?

Yes, you can shallow or deep fry the paneer if you like.

Can we use oil instead of ghee?

You can use either ghee or any cooking oil you like.

What if there were no tomatoes?

You can skip that step and follow the rest. It tastes equally good without tomatoes too.

Can we use white pepper instead of black pepper?

Yes, you can use white pepper instead of black pepper.

    Notes:

    1) You can also fry the paneer.

    2) You can use chili sauce instead of tomato sauce to make it spicier.

    3) You can add water and make a wet version of this if you like.

     4) If you don't want green chilies to be in slit form, you can chop them and add in between the step where we add ginger garlic paste.
