Now Cook Healthy Palak Paneer In Just 10 Minutes

 Hello everyone, in this article I will show you how you can make palak paneer in just four minutes. To know how to make it read this article and try it yourself. 

This is a North Indian recipe prepared with paneer (cottage cheese) and spinach with smooth consistency. With some Indian spices it becomes even more tastier.

    About This Recipe

    Palak paneer is among the relished paneer dish of North India and is eaten in different style in every home. Some eat it with rice, while some relish it with plain chapatti, butter naan and tandoori roti. People also fry the paneer to make it even tastier.

    I am sharing with you healthy recipe that I have tasted and prepared myself at home in 4 minutes with least ingredients.

    Ingredients ( Serve for 2 pax)

    Palak-Paneer-Ingredients

    Palak – 1 bundle

    Paneer – 250 gm.

    Ghee/Oil- 2Tbsp.

    Cumin Seeds- 2tsp.

    Coriander Powder- 2tsp.

    Garam masala – 1tsp.

    1 green chilli – finely chopped (Optional)

    Ginger garlic paste- 2Tsp.

    Salt- to taste

    Red Chilli powder- ½ tsp. (for more spicy you can add more)



    Step By Step Preparation (Photo)

    Step 1

    Heat-oil

    Heat oil on cooking pot.


    Step 2

    Add-cumin-seeds

    Add cumin. Let it cook for one minute on medium flame. 

    Keep stirring.

    Step 3

    Add-ginger-garlic-paste

    Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds to remove the raw smell.

    Step 4

    Add-coriander-powder

    Add coriander powder and cook for 20 seconds, mixing everything well.

    Step 5

    Add-red-chilli-powder

    Add red chilli powder and mix everything. Keep cooking for 50 seconds. You can increase or decrease red chilli powder according to your liking.

    Step 6

    Add-paneer

    Add paneer to cooking pot and cook for 29 seconds while stirring continuously.  Add salt.

    Step 7

    Add-garam-masala

    Add garam masala and give it a good stir. Cook for 16 seconds on medium flame.

    Step 8

    Add-palak

    Add palak. Mix everything and cook for 47 seconds. Switch off the flame and transfer it to serving bowl. You can garnish it with cream(optional) on top.


    Step 9

    Palak-Paneer

    Your dish is ready to be served.

     

    Preparation

     1). Wash Spinach thoroughly under running water and add it to cooking pot covered to cook.

     

    2) Check after 5 minutes the colour of spinach should have changed and is ready. Let it cool down.

     

    3) Add the spinach and a very little water to grinder and make a smooth paste. Take it out from the grinder and keep it aside.

     

    4) Heat 2tbsp oil/ ghee in cooking pot and add cumin seeds, let it crackle a little for few seconds.

     

    5) Add 2tsp ginger garlic paste, 2tsp coriander powder and red chilli powder. Also add paneer and sauté it on medium flame till raw flavour of ginger garlic has gone and paneer has become little red.

     

    6) Add spinach and 1tsp of garam masala and salt according to your taste. Cook it covered on medium flame for 4 minutes. Switch off the flame and transfer it to serving bowl.

     

    7) Serve hot with rice, naan, tandoori roti and enjoy with your friends and family.
